Artificial Intelligence
Machine Learning: A subset of AI, machine learning involves creating algorithms that allow machines to learn from data and improve without explicit programming. The machine identifies patterns, makes predictions, and refines its processes as it processes more data. Examples include predictive text and fraud detection.
Natural Language Processing (NLP): NLP enables computers to understand, interpret, and generate human language. It powers chatbots, translation services, and tools like GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformers), which can generate human-like text.
Computer Vision: This is the ability of AI to interpret and understand visual inputs, such as images and videos. Computer vision is used in facial recognition, autonomous vehicles, and medical imaging.
Robotics: AI and robotics work together in developing intelligent robots capable of performing tasks autonomously, such as industrial robots in manufacturing or service robots in healthcare.
Deep Learning: A specialized branch of machine learning, deep learning uses neural networks with many layers to simulate human decision-making. Deep learning is responsible for advancements in areas like image recognition, natural language processing, and self-driving cars.
